TOMMASO MARZILLI, 87, of Everly St., Cranston, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Ferrari) Marzilli.
Born in Arce-Frosinone, Italy, the son of the late Gaetano and Antonia (DeSantis) Marzilli, he came to the U.S. in 1954 settling in Cranston.
Mr. Marzilli worked at the former Imperial Knife Company in Providence for 12 years and later as a custodian for the Cranston School Department for 13 years before retiring. He served in the Italian Army during WW-II.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Ada Sera and her husband Luigi of Rye, NH and Toni Enright and her husband Joseph of Cranston; loving grandfather of Jean, Stephanie, Christopher, Claudia, Thomas and Melissa; loving great-grandfather of nine; and dear brother of the late Ernesto, Eleuterio, Luigi, Alessandro, Chiara and Anna.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Monday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
