TOMAS S. VELLUCCI

85, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty three years to Madeline (Bordone) Vellucci. Born in the Dominican Republic he was a son of the late Julio and America (Vita) Vellucci. Mr. Vellucci was a mechanical engineer for Teknor Apex Inc. of Pawtucket for sixteen years before retiring in 1988. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War era. Tomas was a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club.

Besides his wife he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tomas was the brother of the late Julio and Anthony P. Vellucci.

His funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
