88, of West Kingston, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Cecilia (Grossi) Celseti for sixty-four years.
Born in Fontana Liri, Italy he was a son of the late Pietro and Velia (Costrini) Celseti.
He served in the Military Service in Italy before emigrating to RI in 1961. Tito began the art of tailoring as a teenager and was the owner of Garden City Tailors in Cranston for over twenty-five years.
An accomplished saxophone musician, he formed the band The Casanovas with his brother Damosi; they played together for thirty years. Music was Tito’s passion, he enjoyed writing and transposing.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert Celseti and his wife Lorie of West Warwick and Frank Celseti of South Kingstown; two brothers, Damosi Celseti of Cranston and Walter Celseti of Italy; and two cherished granddaughters, Sarena and Sydney. He was the brother of the late Ugo Celseti, Marcello Celseti and Ornella (Celseti) Coratti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION FROM 10-11am in the Church.
