(Granata) Tina Caprio, of West Warwick and Hollywood, Fl passed away Monday December 22, 2008 at her home in West Warwick surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Caprio. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Vincent and Louisa (Muscatelli) Granata. Mrs. Caprio was the first Woman Administrator for the Dr. John E. Donely Center. She worked for the Department of Labor for 40 years retiring in 1986. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed travelling with her children and grandchildren to Fl, especially Disney World. She loved to cook and entertain her family and friends. Tina loved all animals, adopting numerous dogs and cats during her lifetime. Tina is survived by her loving children, Joyce Ung and her husband Larry of Ft. Myers, Fl, Anthony Caprio and his wife Laura Jean of Johnston, Carolina Caprio Pace and her companion Robert Negrotti of Warwick, Tina (Billie Grace) Pelit and her husband Hal of West Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of twin grandsons. She was also the sister of the late Anthony and John Granata, Emma Procaccini and Tilda Tatarian. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Brayton Ave. Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8 pm.
