Timothy P. “Tiny” Parent

55, of Cranston, passed away at Miriam hospital on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Born in Providence on December 25, 1965, to late Bernadette and Lawrence Parent.

Tiny was a man of many trades. He worked for many tow truck companies across Rhode Island, he also worked for oil companies for many years, as well as setting up stages at Gillette. Tiny loved the art of cooking, was an avid N.E Patriots and N.Y Yankee fan, he also loved Nascar and was involved in a High Low Jack league. Most importantly to him, spending time with his family and friends, as he would help countless people along his life’s journey.

Tiny had also raced at Seekonk Speedway, Waterford Speedbowl and was a part of the stock car racing crew. He also owned and raced a Formual 4 stock car and made many life long friends throughout his racing years.

He was Survived by his loving companion Olivia Vendettoli. Tiny was the devoted father of Maryanne Scavongelli of Warwick, and Madison Parent of Cranston.  He was the cherished grandfather of six.  Tiny was the dear brother of Lawrence F. Parent, Jr. of Providence, Domenic V. Parent of Cranston, Charles M. Parent of Warwick, and Luci-Ann Parent of North Providence.  Tiny was also the stepfather of Stephen Vendettoli of Cranston, and Ariana Vendettoli of Providence.

His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 11 a.m. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.  Burial will be private.
