Timothy 'Tim' Maher

64, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 peacefully at his home with his family in Wakefield.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Lynn (Ruggieri) and loving sons Michael and Matthew Maher of Wakefield.  Tim also is survived by his parents, Thomas and Liz Trace of Ocala, FL; brothers David of Costa Rica and Donald of Virginia Beach; and sister Sharon Hecht of CA.  Tim also leaves behind his mother-in-law Shirley Ruggieri of West Warwick and sisters-in-law Lori and Chris Ruggieri of West Warwick.  Tim was a dearly loved uncle to 7 nieces and nephews and two great nephews.

Tim was Director of Technology at IGT.  Tim was an avid golfer and President of South County Business Men’s Golf League for many years.  Tim was a passionate New England Sports fan, loved spending time with his family and friends and adored his dogs Shaggy and Odie.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd.
