Timothy Scott Buckley

59, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Hildebrand) Buckley for twenty-eight years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Robert and Shirley (Hopkins) Buckley.

Tim was a US Air Force Veteran and a professional Union truck driver for more than 30 years. He was employed by J.R. Vinagro and a proud member of the Teamsters Local 251.

He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed fixing small engines. He was the neighborhood handyman and staple of Peck Hill Road, just like his father.

Besides his wife, he leaves his three daughters, Stephanie, Michelle and Jamie Buckley all of Johnston, his brother, Michael Buckley, his sisters, Kerrie Humble, Lynda Madonna, and Kim Magnelli, his lifelong best friend and brother-in-law, Raymond Madonna, and his beloved granddaughter Gabriella (Gigi).

His funeral service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:30am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
