THOMAS VERINO

93, of Wakefield, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at South County Hospital in Wakefield. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (Simone) Verino. Thomas was born in Providence, a son of the late Giovanni and Filomena (Caporella) Verino. Mr. Verino was employed for the Providence School Department for many years until his retirement. He is survived by his loving children, Brenda Paul of Warwick, Laurel Ducat of Dayville, CT, Linda Francisco of Cranston and Barbara Joyce of South Kingstown. He was also the cherished grandfather of 5, great grandfather of 10 and was the brother of the late Joseph, Domenic and Vincenzo Verino and Della Canzone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
