THOMAS B. SIMONE

88, of Warwick, passed away on Monday May 20, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Marie R (Annicelli) Simone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Benedetto and Theresa (Vuocolo) Simone. He was a WW-11 US Navy veteran and was a member of the VFW Post No 10011, U.C.T., AARP, NARFE and St. Timothy's Church Holy Name Society. Tom was the Assistant Fiscal Officer at Veterans Administration Medical Center for 34 years from March 18, 1946 to December 29, 1980 then was Accounts Receivable Collector at the Office of Accounts and Control for the State of Rhode Island for 8 years from 1981 to 1989.

Besides his wife he was the dear brother of the late Salvatore, Peter, Michael, Frank and Vincent Simone, Antonetta Pompei, Assunta Ruggiero, Celia Lord, Angelina Quaglieri, and Josephine Olivo. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy's Church Warwick at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
