THOMAS R. RAO

69, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday August 29, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Gail (Ladish) Rao for the past 44 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Laura (Ricci) Rao. Thomas was a transportation supervisor for various trucking companies through the years. He loved family, friends, food & laughter. He was the devoted father of Kristen G. Rao of Providence and Thomas J. Rao of Lincoln; loving grandfather of Thomas W. Rao. He was the dear brother of Barbara Coe of Worcester, MA. His funeral will be held on TUESDAY at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. MARY' S CHURCH, 1525 CRANSTON STREET.Cranston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
