THOMAS 'TIMMY' DI PIRO

100, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at the Morgan Health Center in Johnston. Born in Warwick he was a son of the late Antonio and Francesca (Moretta) DiPiro.

Uncle Tom "Timmy" was truly one of a kind. He worked for his brothers Trucking Company for many years and then worked as an Insurance Sales Representative for John Hancock until his retirement. He was a world traveler and an avid reader. He will be remembered for his catch phrases of "keep smiling", "indeed", and "waste not, want not."

He is survived by his brother Peter DiPiro of Cranston and is also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Damiano C. DiPiro, Giovanna Anna Mansi, Josephine Marietta, Lillian Rufo, and Antonetta DiPiro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society Emergency Food Center, 181 Princess Avenue Cranston, R.I. 02920.
