Thomas W. Manera Sr., 69, of Cranston died Sunday January 16, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Diana (Moreira) Manera. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Anna Manera. Mr. Manera was the former owner of TM's Tap, Providence and recently retired from FM Global, Johnston. Tom was a diehard sports fan loving his Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. Tom volunteered over 15 years coaching and managing for Silver Lake Olneyville Little League, coaching Casali's Liquors, NY System and guiding teams to the State Championships. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, all Daddy's little girls, Dawn Guglielmo and her husband David of Johnston; Donna Brown and her husband Richard and Debra Cunha and her husband Kevin all of Cranston; one son, his best friend, Cpt. Thomas Manera Jr., RI Army National Guard, and his wife Viktoria of Greenwich, NY.; eleven grandchildren, Grampy's angels, Alexis, Talia and Zachary Guglielmo; Chloe and Molly Brown; Annina, Sophia, Immanuel and Mia Manera and Gabriella and Jordan Cunha. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston at 10am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8PM.
