THOMAS W. HARTSHORN, JR

87, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of Eunice (Caparelli) Hartshorn for 64 years. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Thomas W. Hartshorn, Sr. and Marie (Capron-DeClerk) Hartshorn. He was also the step-son of the late Florence Hartshorn. Thomas was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in WWII. He was employed at CBC Davisville for 27 years before his retirement. He was a member of VFW Kelley Gazzero Post, DAV Focarelli Chapter and was a national representative for IBPO and NAGE.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Kathy M. and Thomas A. Hartshorn, both of Johnston. Thomas was the cherished grandfather to Justin A. Hartshorn. He was also the brother of Elaine Frazier of Iowa.
