THOMAS F. FISHER

100, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas and Bridget Fisher. He was the beloved husband of Olga (Bok) Fisher for 68 years. Mr. Fisher was an Army Veteran who served in WWII. He was the Superintendant of the former Merchants Cold Storage in Providence for 47 years until his retirement. Thomas was the very first member of the Olneyville Boys Club, was an avid Red Sox fan and was a communicant of the Church of St. Mark. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Carol A. LeDuc and her husband Theodore of Wisconsin, Mary Anne Crudale and her husband Angelo of California and Thomas Fisher and his wife Donna of Warwick. Thomas was the grandfather of eight and great grandfather of ten. His funeral wil be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark, Garden City, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
