THOMAS E. DUXBURY

95, of East Greenwich, formerly of Smithfield and Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Kelly) Duxbury. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas S. and Rose (Cominski) Duxbury. Thomas was the owner of Duxbury Insurance Company of Smithfield for many years before his retirement. He was a graduate of Bryant College, and was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. Thomas was an avid golfer, and was a former member of the Point Judith Country Club.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Patricia Addison, Marilyn Norris, and Carol Mulvaney. He was the cherished grandfather of seven. Thomas was the brother of the late Mildred Taber.
