Thomas R. Drury
76, of Cranston and West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the husband of Lucille (Corona) Drury. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Faith (Brown) Drury.
Besides his wife, Thomas is survived by his loving children, Shane Drury of Cranston, Todd Drury of North Providence, Judy Greenberg and her husband Eric of East Greenwich, and his faithful companion Kipper; dear siblings, William Drury of Cranston, Janice Ruggieri of Coventry, Cynthia Overstreet of Cranston, Jeffrey Drury of Johnston, and the late David Drury; cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Jared and Evan Greenberg.
Thomas was employed as a teacher in both the Cranston and Providence School Systems for over 30 years before his retirement. He was an avid golfer and sports fan.
A service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. VISITING HOURS will precede the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
