Thomas G. “Tom” DePetrillo

Thomas G. “Tom” DePetrillo 89, of Johnston,  passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 5, 2021.  He was the devoted husband of 59 years to Marie A. (Ruscito) DePetrillo.

Tom had a life long love for gardening. He was the successful owner and President of Thomas DePetrillo Inc. Landscaping for over 35 years. He was an army veteran and a member of the Renaissance Alliance Lodge.

Besides his wife, Tom is survived by his beloved children, Dr. Thomas DePetrillo and his wife Cheryl of Glocester, Lynn M. Doyle and her husband John of Canton, MA, and Jennifer A. Lund and her husband Chris of Foxborough, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Lauren Rappoport and her husband Brendan, Julianna DePetrillo, Jenna DePetrillo, Jack and Maddox Lund.

His funeral services will take place from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Catholic Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence at 11:00 AM. VISITING HOURS are on Thursday MORNING from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
