Thomas J. Altieri

Thomas J. Altieri, 80 of Narragansett, passed away Monday September 25, 2023.  He was the husband of Sheila (DeAngelis) Altieri.

Born in Providence he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Mary (Cardillo) Altieri

Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Lisa Altieri of North Kingstown; his son John Altieri and his wife Amy of Milton, Ma.; His three grandchildren Rocco, Grace, and Sam; his siblings June Santopietro of Narragansett, Sandra Cioe of Arizona, and Joseph J. Altieri of Narragansett.  Tom was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a former owner of R.I. Sand & Gravel Co. and later opened Gian Men's Clothing Store to pursue his passion of haberdashery.  Tom was a trendsetter in the men's fashion industry in RI and continued his trade until his retirement in 2006.

Tom loved golfing, gardening, vacationing in Florida, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday October 2,2023, at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, Cranston.  Burial will be private.

Visiting hours will be held at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI on Sunday October 1,2023, from 4-7 pm.
