Theresa A. (Giarrusso) Messore

94, of Cranston, formerly of Deltona, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of the late John Messore. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Emilio and Amelia (Ricciardi) Giarrusso. Theresa was the owner/operator of a jewelry soldering business for many years before retiring.

Theresa was the loving mother of Linda DiLibero and her husband Armand of Cranston, and the late John B. Messore. She was the dear sister of Edward Giarrusso and the late Alexander Giarrusso, Rose Bucacci, Eva DiNitto, Olga Ruscetta and Emilio Giarrusso. Theresa was also the cherished grandmother of Michael J. Vessella, Sr., Stephanie Klang, Giana Robinson, Benjamin B. Messore and the late George Vessella, III; great grandchildren, Alexandria Taylor, Jason Taylor, Leo Taylor, Michael Vessella, Jr., Kailyn Vessella, Luca Robinson, Justin Demers and Sarah Demers.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
