THERESA (MORROCCO) LIGHTBOWN
85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Saturday, April 28, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick L. Lightbown.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Saccoccia) Morrocco. Theresa was employed by Bulova Watch Company, and Tacoa Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and cared deeply for others. Theresa was an avid cook, gardener, and world traveler. Her smile lit up the lives of all who knew her.
Theresa is survived by her loving children, Teresa R. Lightbown of Cranston, Frederick W. Lightbown of Hallandale, FL, and Laurie M. Mangano and her husband Richard of Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph D. Lightbown of Hallandale, FL.
Theresa was the sister of Mary Martin, of Cranston and the late Esther George, Joseph Morrocco, Ellen Hight, Louis, Tony, Thomas, Robert and Doris Morrocco. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
