THERESA R. HICKEY

of Charlestown, RI, fomerly of Narragansett , passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Baylor Regional Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was the wife of the late Harold J. Hickey. Born in Boston on November 30, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Nora (Scott) Flynn. Theresa was employed as an Executive Assistant to the Norfolk County Commissioner's Office in Dedham, MA until her retirement in 1987. She is survived by her children, Susan E. Grills of Mystic, CT, Irene M. Roche of Weymouth, MA, Grace E. Teta of Charlestown, RI, Terese M. Silvia of Dallas, TX and Edmund S. Hickey of Austin, TX. She was the grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of nine. Theresa is also survived by her sister Mary C. Sullivan of Wollaston, MA and the late Cecelia Brennan and Margaret Mullen. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd.(RTE. 1A), Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, Rockland St., Narragansett at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in RI Veteran Cemetery, Exeter.
