THEODORE "TEDDY" TOPAKIAN

Teddy was the co-owner of General Plating Co. in Providence for 45 years before retiring in 1993. In 1944 he was named All-State in football at Cranston High School, and later after graduating he attended Brown University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WW-II. He was an active member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church and a past member of its Board of Trustees; a member of The Knights of Vartan; Pawtucket Country Club; and was an avid NY Yankee fan. Teddy enjoyed reading, gardening, golfing and spending time with his wife of 59 years.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Gregory C. Topakian and his wife Christine of Westborough, MA, Diane M. Topakian of Lancaster, PA, and Lisa A. Topakian of North Kingstown; loving grandfather of Daniel, Lucy and Phoebe; dear brother of the late Armen Topakian; and loving uncle of Gail and Karen Topakian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
