THEODORE D. MACKSOUD

86, of Garden Hills Dr., Cranston, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 56 years of Dorothy A. (Turchetta) Macksoud. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Kahil and Marie (Saferda) Macksoud.

Mr. Macksoud was a general manager for the former A&P Food Stores and later was a job developer for the City of Providence CETA Program before retiring. He was Past President of St. Bartholomew's Church Holy Name Society and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

His zest for life and travel led him to travel the world with his best friend his wife. He enjoyed organizing bus trips for close friends and founded "Ted's Group". He was also the life of the party, telling jokes, dancing and singing songs.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Keith E. Macksoud and his wife Aldona of Lincoln and Diane M. Macksoud of Cranston; loving grandfather of Eric, Michelle and Angela Macksoud; and dear brother of Charles, Joseph and Victor Macksoud, Olga Khoury, Rose Nahas and Victoria Perrotti.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are TUESDAY from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
