80, of Battey St., Providence, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 at home. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Emidio and Maria (Coppa) DeSantis.
Teddy worked for the U. S. Government - Department of H.E.W. in Washington, D.C. and later in New York City. After retiring from the U.S. Government, he worked for the City of New York. He graduated from Classical High School in Providence, Providence College, received a Master's Degree from Boston College and attended the University of Bonn Medical School in Germany.
Teddy was the dear brother of the late Josephine M. DeSantis and is survived by his brother-in-law Costantino DeSantis; loving niece Mary Frances DeSantis and loving nephew Dean E. DeSantis, all of Cranston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 64 Brayton Ave., Providence, followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
