TERESA (PELLEGRIN0) VELTRI

86, of Narragansett, passed away on Sunday November 6, 2011 at South County Hospital. She was the wife of Michael Veltri.

Born in Amantea, Cosenza, Italy she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Antonia (Arlia) Pellegrino. Teresa immigrated to America with her family in 1965.

She worked for various jewelry companies for many years before her retirement.

She was also an avid gardner and homemaker.

Besides her husband of 64 years she is survived by her children, Nicholas Veltri and his wife Marjorie of Narragansett, Anthony Veltri and his wife Sally of Smithfield, and Francesca Santilli of Narragansett. She was the sister of Maria Russo of Italy and the late Mario, Angelo and Emilio Pellegrino. Teresa was the grandmother of Michael, Juliet, Anthony, Belinda, Julie and Franco and great-grandmother of Jack Richard.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave Cranston, followed by Entombment in Mother of Hope Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
