Teresa (Prescuitti) Ruggieri

97, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the faithful wife of the late Rinaldo Ruggieri . Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Julia (Lepre) Prescuitti.  Teresa enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

She was a devoted mother to son Richard Ruggieri of West Warwick, her daughter Susan Di Mezza and husband Alfred of Warwick, and son Luigi Ruggieri and his wife Valerie of West Warwick.

She was also the beloved sister of Americo Prescuitti,  and his wife Carol of North Providence. Teresa was the treasured grandmother of Tiffanie Morgero, Anthony Ruggieri, Elyse Keogh and her husband Curran, Brianna Hamilton, Alicia Kroszner and her husband Sean, Vanessa and Vincenzo Ruggieri; and her great grandchildren: Noah, Ava, Alfred, Sloane and Isabelle.

Teresa was the dear sister of the late Alexander Prescuitti, Angelina D’Alfonso, Frederico Prescuitti and Jean Bamford, and cherished grandmother of Janine Ruggieri. Her funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
