TERESA "MAMA T" (MAGNONE) BALASCO

Teresa "Mama T" (Magnone) Balasco 84, of Curry Road, Cranston, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the devoted wife of Anthony R. "Doc" Balasco; they were married for sixty-six years. Born in Providence; she was a daughter of the late Nunziato and Carmela (Macera) Magnone. Mrs. Balasco was an inspector for Davol Corporation in Cranston for ten years before retiring in 1980. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children; Judith M. Grelle, Janice E. Carr, Deborah A Carosi and her husband Anthony "Tony" all of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Donna L. Gray, John A. Grelle, Robert E. Carr, Jr., Stephanie J. Carbone, Tony Carosi, Jr. and Jason Carosi. Mrs. Balasco was the great-grandmother of seven. She was the sister of Albert Magnone of Providence. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday morning 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
