TAYLA D. LACKEY

20, of Shaw Dr. Glocester passed away on Saturday February 6, 2010 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Donald F. and Rhonda M.(Gordon) Lackey Jr.; and loving sister of Jared D. Lackey. She was the cherished granddaughter of John and Patricia (Simons) Roperti of North Providence and Rose (Renzi) Gordon of North Providence and the late Raymond Gordon. Tayla was the dear niece of Linda and Bob Corry, Jim and Diane Barry both of North Providence, Robbin and Steven Rendine of Smithfield who also were Tayla's god parents, Donna and Steven Dionne of Cumberland, Jean Lackey of North Kingstown and Mariann Lackey of Cranston and several cousins. She was a junior at RI College, and was a 2007 graduate of Mount St. Charles High School where she was a member of the 2006-2007 Girls State Hockey Championship Team. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Thursday 4-8p.m. Burial will be private.
