SYLVIA ANN MADDALENA
71, of Orleans St., Johnston and formally of East Greenwich passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at R.I. Hospital. She was the former wife of Vincent Maddalena of East Greenwich. She was born in Johnston a daughter of the late Carlo and Mary (Scungio) Cardillo. She is survived by her 3 children, Paula A. Maddalena and Erica L. Maddalena both of East Greenwich and Vincent A. Maddalena Jr. of Ft. Graiot, Michigan. She was the grandmother of Briel, Brittney, Sydney, Peter, Maxxwell and Michael and sister of Carolyn Gaglione, Lorraine Rotmer and David Cardillo all of Cranston; Anita Pitocco, Carlo Cardillo Jr. and Deborah DiMundo all of Johnston and the late Thomas Cardillo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Ave., East Greenwich and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 4-8pm. Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Greenwich.
