SYLVIA (COSTA) BELL

94, 0f 206 Scituate Vista Drive, Cranston, died peacefully at home on August 20, 2012. She was the wife of the late Arthur Bell. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Rose (Ponte) Costa, she lived in Cranston for 36 years, after having lived in the Fox Point section of Providence. She worked in the jewelry industry for many years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Donald Gormley of Cranston, her granddaughter, Robyn Gormley-Jackson and her husband Nicholas of Glocester, and her three great-grandchildren, Quinn, Amelia and Ellie. She was the sister of the late Mary Costa, Evangeline Caduto and Rose Medeiros-Matows. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigid's Church at 10am. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
