SYLVIA C. (TROIA) ANTHONY

62, formerly of Johnston and Providence, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald J. Anthony. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Fiore "Frank" and Dora M. (Iannetta) Troia.

Sylvia was an assembler for her family business at the former Hilltop Hinge & Clip Company in Johnston; and was a Jehovah Witness.

She was the devoted mother of Michael P. Anthony of South River, NJ; dear sister of Christopher F. Troia of Johnston, Linda M. Soave and her husband Albert of Cranston and the late Claudia A. DellaSala and her husband Anthony of Monterey, CA; loving grandmother of four; and loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be private.
