Suzanne Louise (Lawton) Ceruto

61, passed away suddenly on February 24, 2024 while bravely battling cancer.

Suzanne was born on October 6, 1962 in Warwick, Rhode Island. She is survived by her loving children Joel Ceruto and Stephanie Kavanagh. Her son in law Michael Kavanagh and her grand-daughter Emery Kavanagh. Her brother Stephen Lawton, sister in law Alexis Lawton, and nephew, Tristan Lawton. Along with her beloved sister in Christ Diana Monis.

Suzanne was a loving wife, incredible mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was an extremely hard worker, and was dedicated to her job. Through each job she held, they were never just a workplace, but a mission field where she would share the love of Jesus to everyone she met. She was a giving soul who gave to her church, local mission organizations, and sponsored children overseas who did not have much. Her beautiful smile, constant joy, and overwhelming encouragement will be missed by all who knew and loved her. To know Suzanne was to know the love of Jesus.

Suzanne will be laid to rest in Rhode Island next to her parents.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI. A funeral procession will be organized outside the main gates of the cemetery at 10:45 am.
