Susan J. (Noel) Plante
77, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Plante, Jr. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Smith) Noel.
Susan was an administrator for the Providence School Department for 22 years before retiring and was an avid golfer.
She was the loving companion of Thomas Pellegrino of Johnston; devoted mother of Gary Plante of Cranston and his former wife Jennifer Plante of Cape Cod, MA, Maureen Kershaw and her husband Robert of Cranston and Lisa Magnone and her husband Paul of Johnston; loving grandmother of nine; loving great-grandmother of four; and dear sister of Henry "Brother" Noel of FL, Edward Noel of Providence and the late Brenda Faubert and Patricia Somers.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
