SUSAN (ST. SAUVEUR) PIHLKRANTZ

57, of North River Drive, Narragansett, died Monday, October 12, 2009 at Woman and Infants Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Gary W. Pihlkrantz. They were married for thirty-six years. Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Oliver A. and Edna (Bumstead) St. Sauveur. Susan was a school teacher in the South Kingstown School Department at Wakefield Elementary School for seven years. She was also employed at Rose Hill Golf Course and Pier Liquors. She was an avid equestrian, enjoyed golfing with her husband and a lover of animals. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Grya A. Pihlkrantz of Narragansett and Jaime W. Nutting of Westerly. Susan was the sister of Richard O. St. Sauveur of Westerly and Sandra L. St. Sauveur of Charlestown. Her funeral service will be held in the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt.1A) Narragansett on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
