70, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2012, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of thirty years to Anthony D. Olivo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Valentino A. and Evelyn (Pellegrino) Tirocchi. Susan was co-owner and secretary of AA Wrecking Company, of Johnston for over thirty years before her retirement.
Besides her husband, Susan is survived by her loving son, John A. Furtado, Jr. and his wife Rosanna of Cranston, and the step-mother of Richard M. Olivo and his wife Lisa of Providence, Annmarie Nasissi and her husband Frank of Johnston, Dawn M. Olivo of Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of John A. Furtado, III of Johnston. Susan was the sister of Elinor Marra, Judith Riccardi, both of North Providence, Valerie Mooney, and Val Tirocchi, both of Johnston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence, RI 02909-5717.
