of Devonshire St., Providence, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Almeida, Jr. Born in Providence, Susan was the daughter of Antonetta (Perillo) Moschiano of Providence and the late Joseph Moschiano.
Susan was Assistant to the Director of Workforce Solutions for the City of Providence and the City of Cranston for the past 25 years and was a member of the Laborers’ International Union #1033.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her sisters Carol Holzinger-Watts of North Providence and Marie Santiano of Providence. Susan is the cherished aunt of Ryan Holzinger, Aaron Holzinger, Jessica Salvo and Alyssa Watts; and the loving great-aunt of Nicholas, Lucas, Kaitlyn and Evan Holzinger.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday, March 1st at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius V Church, 240 Eaton St., Providence at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are FRIDAY MORNING from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
