Surpik "Sue" (Dogramacyan) Ayrassian

of Providence, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late George K. Ayrassian.  Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she was the daughter of the late Asadoor and Eftig (Kotoyan) Dogramacyan. She was the cherished mother of Ann Ayrassian of Providence and Gary G. Ayrassian of North Providence; loving grandmother of Courtney S. Ayrassian of North Providence; younger sister of the late Garbis and Hagop Dogramacyan and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Sue was a devoted and active member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church for over 60 years where she taught Armenian school for over 45 years and volunteered countless hours in so many church organizations and functions including a member of the Women’s Guild, bazar and picnic committees, and former chairperson of the “Hokejash” committee.

Visiting hours are Thursday, February 10th in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church, Providence from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Funeral Service on Friday at 11 a.m. to which relatives and friends are also invited, (Masks are Required).  Burial will be at North Burial Ground, Providence.
