Stuart Currie Dodge

At age 86, Stuart passed away peacefully in his forever home in Cranston surrounded by his loving family.

Married for 63 years, He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Vellucci) Dodge who passed away on September 12, 2021.

Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Stuart and Marion (Currie) Dodge.

Stuart was the owner and operator of Stuart C. Dodge Carpet installation for over 45 yrs.

Spending time with his family was always extremely important to him.

For many years he would go skin diving with his buddies on their boat “The Oz”, grilling fish they speared on the seawall near Galilee. He enjoyed all sports, card games of hi-low-jack and had a passion for growing beautiful Dahlia’s.

He was the devoted father of Karen Dodge and husband Bobby Caliguiri of Cranston,

Patricia Cardillo and her husband Representative Edward Cardillo Jr. of Johnston, Stuart Dodge and his wife Lorena Dodge of Cranston, and Brian Dodge and his wife Sonja Dodge of Cranston

He leaves 8 loving grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30-11am.  His burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Ste. 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
