Steven E. Sabitoni

53, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday January 7, 2021 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. Born in Providence, Steven is survived by his father Emilio “Emo” Sabitoni and his wife Lou Ann of Johnston and his mother Sandra Frazee and her husband Norman of Cranston.

He was the devoted father of Victoria “Buddy” Sabitoni of Johnston; dear brother of Gina Sabitoni-Arakelian and her husband George, Jr. of Johnston; loving uncle of George III and Giavanna Arakelian.  He also is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Steven worked in the produce department at Stop and Shop and has been a laborer for the Laborer’s International Union of North America Local Union 271 for the past 30 years.

He was an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.  He also loved bowling, riding his motorcycle and loved a good cigar.

His family will welcome relatives and friends on Friday, January 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.

Burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston will be private.
