Steven J. O'Neil

72, of North Kingstown, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Tamara S. O’Neil. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John J. Sr. and Elaine G. (Testa) O’Neil.

 Steven was Chief Financial Officer / CPA at Uncas International. He received his BS in Accounting from URI and later a Master’s in Taxation from Bryant University. He was a member of RI CPA Society; American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and member of RI Men’s Senior Baseball League Hall of Fame. Steven loved to travel and was an avid Porsche and sports car enthusiast.

 Besides his wife Tamara, Steven was the devoted father of Derek O’Neil (Ashley) of Houston, TX, Kyle O’Neil (Anna) of Ashaway, Evan O’Neil of Los Angeles, CA and stepdaughter Andrea Aloma of Bolton, CT; dear brother of Kathy Bourassa of Pascoag and John J. O’Neil, Jr. (Lori) of Cranston; and cherished grandfather of Everly, Joshua, Lainee, Markham, Drake, Juniper, Anastastia, Killian, Eliza, Oliver and Leo.

 His funeral will be held on Monday, March 3rd at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
