STEVEN DANSEREAU

Steven G. "The Baker" Dansereau 48, of Providence, formerly of Glocester, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007, surrounded by his loving family and friends at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of Sophie P. (Esposito) Petrella of Johnston and the late Robert J. Dansereau and John Petrella. Mr. Dansereau was the Senior Executive Pastry Chef at the Rhode Island School of Design for fifteen years until his illness in 2006. He was a coach for the Glocester Little League for many years. Steve enjoyed designing cakes and sand sculptures with his sons. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Steve was a fun loving person. He is survived by his two sons Ryan and Kyle Dansereau in the care of their mother Denise Dansereau, all of Glocester, whom he loved very much. Mr. Dansereau was the brother of John Dansereau of Warwick, Michael Petrella of Cranston, James Petrella of Johnston, Janine Dansereau of Johnston, Elissa Pilosa and her husband Joseph Pilosa of Providence, and Jody Petrella of Cranston. He also leaves his companion Isabel Ferreira of Barrington. Steven was the grandson of Anna Gianfrocco of Johnston and the late Michael Esposito and Florida Dansereau. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St Philips Church, Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
