Stephen J. Young

of Lake Garden Dr., Cranston, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband for 22 years of Michele A. (Bianco) Young.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Roselyn (Grady) Young.

Stephen graduated from Bryant College and was a car salesman for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and was known for his keen sense of humor.

Besides his wife Michele, he was the devoted father of Robert S. Young and his wife Kristin of SC, Julie A. Specht and her husband Fred of Lincoln, as well as Alissa Recupero and her partner Melanie Cousineau of North Providence and Kerri Bessette and her husband Michael of Burrillville; loving grandfather of seven; and dear brother of the late David, John and Paul Young.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 5th at 11:30 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior funeral service.
