Stephen J. LaFazia

Stephen J. LaFazia resided in Murphy, North Carolina. He passed away on February 21, 2025  in Ocala, Florida. Steve was born in Providence, RI and was the son of the late Joseph and Jane (Hinterland) LaFazia. Steve was 74 years of age at the time of his passing.

Steve proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. he was a survivor of the of the Vietnam War. In addition Steve owned his own trucking rig. He also was the operator of Sterling/ North American for over 30 years traveling up, and down the east coast and across the country.

He is survived by his children Lisa LaFazia, Joseph LaFazia and Brittney Jensen. He leaves his eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the brother of Joyce Higham, Lori LaFazia, and David LaFazia. He was predeceased by his daughter Renee D. LaFazia.

Visiting hours will be held from 9:30-11:00 am on Saturday March 8, 2025 in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory. 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. His funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please feel free to join the family to celebrate the life of Steve LaFazia.
