STATHIS TELEMAHOS V. "TIMMY" HARRITOS

94, formerly of Birch St., Cranston, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Elmwood Health Center in Providence. Born in Burlington, VT, the son of the late Vasilios and Smaragda (Karapanogiotis) Harritos, he moved to Greece at the age of two and returned to the U.S. in 1947 after serving in the Greek Army from 1930-1947.

Timmy was a waiter at the former Winkler's Steak House in Providence for 27 years retiring in 1981; and was a member of The Order of Ahepa.

He was the devoted father of Vasilios Harritos, James Harritos and his wife Nancy and Spiros Haritos, all of Warwick; loving grandfather of Jennifer, Jason, James II and Alexis; loving great-grandfather of Arianna; and dear brother of George Harritos and Sophia Papadopoulous, both of Athens, Greece and the late James Haritos and Samaragda Liveratos.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday at 12 noon in Church of the Annunciation, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday 6-8 p.m.

Interment will be at North Burial Ground in Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Church of the Annunciation Building Fund, 175 Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, RI 02920.
