Sonia E. (Kizirian) Zorabedian

SONIA E. (KIZIRIAN) ZORABEDIAN, 86, of East Greenwich, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich.  She was the beloved wife for 53 years of Ramon Zorabedian.  Born in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Frances (Papazian) Kizirian.

Sonia earned a master’s degree and was a graduate of Bridgewater State College. She was an elementary school teacher for 10 years before retiring in 1970.

Besides her husband Ramon, she was the devoted and loving mother of Tanya J. Garrian and her husband Greg of East Greenwich and Tara J. Zorian of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Alexa, Aaron, Ava, Luke, Christian, and Noah; and dear sister of Vasken “Ken” Kizirian and his wife Rosalie of Waltham, MA.

VISITING HOURS are Saturday morning, April 29th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway Providence, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
