SONIA L. (CRUZ) GONZALEZ

Sonia L. (Cruz) Gonzalez 45, of Sumter Street, Providence, died on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Woman and Infants Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Eulogio D. Gonzalez. They were married twenty-one years. Born in the Dominican Republic the daughter of Teofila (de la Cruz) Cruz of Providence and the late Ubaldo Cruz. Sonia was employed by Woman and Infants Hospital, Providence in the Human Resources Department for four years before retiring in 2000. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her loving children, Jonathan D. and Matthew G. Gonzalez both of Providence. Mrs. Gonzalez was the sister of Reynaldo Caballero of Florida, Laura Hernandes of New York City and Julissa Cruz of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 239 Oxford Street, Providence and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Broad Street, Providence.
