Silvia (Scittarelli) Neri

94, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Alberto Alessandro Salvatore Neri. Born in S. Apollinare, FR, Italy, married in Montreal, Canada, raised family as a widower since 1955 in both Italy and USA and travelled extensively to her beloved Italy in her later years. She was a daughter of the late Paolo and Caterina (Coletti) Scittarelli. Silvia was a seamstress and managed her family holdings in Italy. In USA, she was also a jewelry worker for many years till  retiring . She was the mother of the year for the Circolo Giovanni XXIII.

Silvia is survived by her loving children, Melina Rina Cacchillo and her husband Mario of East Greenwich, Paul Albert Neri and his wife Claudia of North Providence, and Ada Silvia Lucciola of North Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of Marcus, Michela, Nadia, Maura, Karissa, and Alessandro. Silvia was the great-grandmother of 7. She was the sister of Joseph Scittarelli, Albert Scittarelli, Giovanna Neri, Elvio Scittarelli and Antonietta Cattani. She leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews.
