Silvana R. (Battista) Costigliola

83, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at HopeHealth Hospice, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Luigi Costigliola. Born in Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Stefano and Concetta (Giannetti) Battista.

Silvana is survived by her loving children, Anna Costigliola of Cranston, Angela Caulfield and her late husband Kevin Caulfield of Virginia, Stephen Costigliola of Cranston and the late Biagio Costigliola and his surviving wife Juanita.  Her cherished grandchildren, Gabriella, Kevin, and Sophia Caulfield, Alessandra and Juliana Costigliola, Massimo and Luca Costigliola. She was predeceased by two brothers, Franco and Pio Battista of Italy.

She enjoyed her daily conversation with many friends and family.  Summer was her favorite time of year as she was excited about tending to her garden and flowers.  She will always be remembered for her kindness, her warm smile and generosity. The devotion and love she had for her family will continue to live on with her children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on MONDAY MORNING from 9:00 – 10:00 am. Her entombment will be private.
