SHIRLEY M. (PONTI) RUSCITO
SHIRLEY M. (PONTI) RUSCITO, 92, of Union Dr., North Kingstown, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Ruscito. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Carmella (Falchitto) Ponti.
She worked at the former Paramount Optical in Providence for 11 years retiring in 1975. Family was very important to Shirley and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandsons.
She was the devoted mother of Raymond J. Ruscito and his wife Rebecca of Coventry, Jane S. Tinberg of Exeter and Gloria J. Raymond of North Kingstown; loving grandmother of four; loving great-grandmother of two; and dear sister of the late Daniel, Joseph and Morris Ponti and Mary Vallone.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Her funeral and interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich will be private.
