75, of East Greenwich, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Fritz and Edna (Ouimette) Regelmann. Sharon worked as a financial aid administrator at Brown University for 15 years before retiring.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Kristin DiSanto and her husband Jarod of East Greenwich, and Joseph Ciabattoni and his wife Christine of Tiverton; cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison and Isabella; dear sister of the late Kurt Regelmann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was an accomplished, classical pianist, from the age of twelve years. Sharon attended Bryant University and later graduated from the business program at Katherine Gibbs.
Sharon was a kindhearted and fun-loving soul; it always showed, even during the most difficult times, there would always be a smile on her face. She would become the center of attention. Family, friends and strangers alike, would gravitate towards her spirited ways.
The last few years of her life, she spent living with her daughter, son-in-law and grandkids. There, Sharon found contentment, even while struggling with her medical issues, she continued to be the center of the family, and the focus of the antics that were played on her. She truly was a good sport and relished in the amusement.
Sharon was an avid animal lover, and she also leaves behind her beloved dog, CoCo Marie. Our beautiful Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, will be greatly missed and never forgotten
